Photography not to be missed!

As a designer and wedding professional who is usually too busy or exhausted to snap many shots before the wedding I feel so blessed to have worked with Laura Piazza and Marilyn Dillon of Natural Expressions Wedding Photography a few weeks back.   I am without words on the talent she shows in the below links to unforgettable footage from both the rehearsal dinner (held at the Pond Pavilion, Equinox Spa and Resort) and Wedding (Equinox Resort and Spa) of Lindsay (Tarasuk) and Michael Aroesty!  From the detailed shots, to the expressions and emotions captured in each photography….speechless!  Thank you Laura and Marilyn, as you captured the mood perfectly!!  My last post gives you my amateur shots.. PLEASE VIEW THE SLIDESHOWS! You will not be sorry!!

Style Me Pretty Feature- Lindsay and Michael Rehearsal Dinner

Filed under: press, weddings — tara pollio @ 7:19 pm

What a great night, minus the few moments of Thunderstorm threats with the bride and  groom to be in the Canoe!  The theme was outdoorsy, the setting perfect.  With touches like renting adirondak chairs and providing the comfort of a cozy blanket, a surprise arrival of the bridal couple to be by canoe, lighting the outline of the lake with coach lanterns  and watching the reflection of the event in the illuminated waters… a great start to an amazing wedding weekend.  The wedding party guests and family arrived for a lobster cookout and the rest of the wedding guest (all 200 of them!) joined the after party for dancing, cocktails and desert.   And we were featured on Style me pretty….

Wedding Flowers by Tara Pollio

So often, it’s your florist and event designer (if you have one) that really give your wedding style its bones…from crafting and designing the main element of your decor, to putting the finishing touches on presentation and styling, finding a florist that is in line with your own vision is so important.

I love this wedding that Tara Pollio, an event designer (who just happens to do flowers, too) out of Vermont and one of our favorite little black book members, sent me. Although all of the details are pretty gorgeous, it’s the flowers that really bring out the personality of the space…
